More than Just a Hotel

We are a boutique property in the true heart of Moab, featuring 8 individual 1 bedroom flats.  Finished over the summer of 2014, Moab Flats was restored from quirky mid-century housing for the booming mining industry of the 1950s into modern accommodations for visitors seeking comfort and relaxation.  Moab Flats is a little bit vintage and a little bit modern.

Unique Decor

In the same spirit as the rest of Moab Flats, much of the furniture is hand-built from reclaimed materials certified by the Forest Steward Council. Many of the textiles are made from reclaimed fabric from around the world including recent and vintage tribal kilms, vintage Navajo blanket rugs and surreys from India.

Backyard Retreat

The backyard is a retreat from the desert with a big shade tree, fire-pit, large hot tub and barbeque grills on the patio.  There is a great place to hang out and work on bikes and a large bike lock building to keep your bike secure during your stay.

Moab is one of the most unique places on earth.  When you travel so far to such an uncommon land, why stay in a national chain motel which averages 200 square feet (21 Sq meters), when you can stay somewhere that has around 620 square feet (57 Sq meters) and is as unique as Moab.

Enjoy An Outdoor Oasis

The outdoor space is one of the most popular aspects of Moab Flats. It is a fantastic place to relax after a day of adventure, have a meal or work on your gear.  On the grounds there is a shaded sitting area with café lights.  There is a hot-tub that holds eight.  There is a gathering area that has a fire-pit on cooler evenings.  You can grill on the BBQ and eat a meal at the picnic table under café lights.  There is a secure bike barn and bike stand.
